Writing Circle

Start the New Year right—by writing! If you still need a good reason to write, here’s this: We write to add our voices to the choir, to remember, to forget, to use up what we have been given and give it away.

January 16th features our writing circle, at 6:30, a slight change in our normally scheduled time for just this month. We are also thrilled to announce the launch of Bread & Poetry anthology. Each month, we will name a theme and glean work produced in our circles and use it toward producing a printed Bread & Poetry anthology. January’s theme is generosity. Come join us, writing to hear ourselves breathe, and to have the chance to become a published poet in the library’s first-ever anthology of local Lyons poets.
