Basic Alterations Sewing Workshop

Kick the fast fashion habit! Over four weeks, this workshop will cover essential sewing and altering techniques to help you learn how to redefine your wardrobe. Look stylish and chic while spending less!

Patch Perfection: Learn topstitching to decorate, patch and put on pockets.

Hemming Magic: Master finishing techniques to elevate your garments.

Pocket power: Bring those pieces that you would wear if only they had a place for you to put your cell phone and keys. Be sure and toss in something with a side seam.

Waistline Wow: Tailor your clothes for a perfect fit and flattering silhouette.

Registration is required, and a minimum of 6 registrations is needed for this series to take place. Priority will be given to students who can attend all classes. 

What to bring: Your own used clothing items to repair and alter.

A limited number of sewing machines will be available to use for students who don't own a machine. If you have your own, please consider bringing it to allow more students to participate.
