Event Details

Our Summer Reading program encourages everyone to read during the summer months, particularly school-aged children on break from school. This year’s theme is: Adventure Begins at Your Library! We hope you’ll read and adventure with us this summer!  

In addition to encouraging reading throughout the summer, we are highlighting all the resources and materials Lyons Library offers the community. Explore nature with a State Parks Pass or trail cam, visit a local museum with one of our Cultural Passes or relax with a board game or film on Kanopy.

We will have reading logs and events all summer long, catered to four different age groups: Early Readers (babies & toddlers), Children (Kindergarten-5th grade), Tweens and Teens (Grades 6-12) and Adults.  Register below to receive the link to download and print your reading log (or come in to the library for a copy).
