Event Details

Baby chicks are coming to the library!  Join us this spring as we incubate, candle, and hatch chicken eggs over three short weeks.  This is a great way for preschool and elementary children to observe the development of life while experiencing hands-on learning.   

On May 14th, we will learn all about raising backyard chickens, from the type of space they need, to what to feed them and how to best care for them.
