Baby Chicks! Egg Candling

Baby chicks are coming to the library!  Join us this spring as we incubate, candle, and hatch chicken eggs over three short weeks.  This is a great way for preschool and elementary children to observe the development of life while experiencing hands-on learning.   

On May 7th, we will observe the growth and development of embryos inside the eggs by shining a light source behind the egg to show details through the shell.
