Program Description

Event Details

Sally King is a writer and visual artist, well known for her bear sculptures in town; April Tierney is a published poet and craftswoman who offers seasonal readings and classes. Together, they will explore the various dimensions of being an artist at vastly different places along the spectrum of life.

With four decades between them, these innovative women intend to build a bridge between the generations through a stirring and intimate dialogue about the creative process, the artist’s role within these times, as well as the inherent risk and vulnerability of creating/sharing new works.

Please join us for this special, interactive event. Coffee and tea will be provided.
